Hair bows! Yes, my daughter and I made hair bows. We were trying to be resourceful and using material we already had. We bought clips and bands and went to sewing. She was so great at coordinating the flower with a yo-yo and button. 
Some of the fabric is left over from a quilt. I loved the antique look of these and paired with antique buttons, they turned out perfect.
I had some scrap Amy Butler fabric that worked beautifully. I knew I saved those little pieces for something!
